Emi Shorkie are not new breeders, we go back to 2011 breeding our Shorkie puppies, breeding, showing and trying our best to breed for health and longevity. Our goal is to try and keep a healthy balance of looks, health , and temperament while adhering to the standard.

Breeding is an art, and you must take your tools seriously. Emi Shorkie takes breeding seriously and learning your bloodlines, making decisions on health,  temperament, ringside, handlers, diet, and your own breeding program, require many years of research and dedication.

Our Champion girls 8Ball and Cello go back to our original lines. Cello represented the best in health and temperament, that still stand the test of longevity today, as many of Emi Shorkie puppies lived to 17 years of age.
